I have a question, does this antenna have any negative affects on reception cuz i've heard that a short antenna like from the s2000 i think removes AM reception, does this do the same?

reception decreases overall with the ARK antenna. I've had it on my car.. if you're looking for good quality radio i'd stick with the stocker or get a retractable. its really only for looks.. though sometimes you can hear what sounds like the radio

i have the shorttie antenna... the reception goes down quite a lot, but if you are in a major city (duh) then you will have no problems, cruising on the highway and in the suburbs, then you may run into problems
