ok right now funds are kind of limited and the weather is unforgiving. some time this week i go back to the body shop and have my side skirts put on. im still on stockers and this summer i really need to invest in some rims. i also want opinions on what i should do about rims and springs. should i leave the springs stock and get some nice 17's with low pro's or should i put some nice 15's or 16's and do some eibachs. right now im low. i mean look at the pic in my sig and give me an opinion. i have bottomed out the front end of the kit once already going into a driveway. i don't want to have this happen any more but i don't wanna sit so high it makes everything else look dumb. please help! need to hear some other people's input.

the kit lowers the car 4" so any lowering springs would bottom out just driving on flat roads. I say get some 17s and some LP tires... those look nice lowered or not. i too intend on getting some 17s soon, but im not gonna kit my car just yet, so im getting springs. This site seems to have fairly good prices on rims: http://www.machiii.net/main001.html
check those out i recommend either all black/gunmetal rims or something thats dark with a polished lip, i think a polished lip would look nice with your car.

yeah i knew it was low but i didn't think it was 4 in low. i was also thinking i could get some 18's and the eibachs and they would prolly balance each other out. thanx site and the input. need to ponder.
any thoughts on these?

I'd think you could get away with 17's and Eibachs, but you'd have to drive very carefully.

3rd that... With that body kit you should not need to lower... but i would swap for some KYB's or Tib UltraSport shocks/struts and go with the Eibachs. These shocks should be a little stiffer and provide a little less sag, although the Eibachs don't sag very much at all. Then i would also upgrade to Tib rear swaybar and purchase front and rear strut bars. This extra reinforcement will help keep your side skirts from scrapping when turning sharply and on bumpy roads.

^^^ 4th that, haha. i like those wheels, i think they'll go quite nicely with the c`olor of the car and everything... gunmetal might also look good with the CF and the silver, i don't know
here, i made this for you. it is your car.. with those^ wheels:

with the side skirts on, this will be a thing of beauty in my opinion

thanx korai but are those 18's or 19's on there? i think it would look good though. really like the look of the 5 spoke rims. so 17's without low pro's and eibachs. yeah i have been putting off suspension upgrades for quite some time. i guess they have finally caught up with me. you really think i should switch to the ultra sports though.

does anyone know if the apc strut bar will fit on our elantra. there is one for an accord and there is a universal one. of course the accord one has a pic of an elantra on it and the universal has a pic of a focus. has anyone put this on their car?
