i read somewhere on cardomain and from a link on the forums which i cant find now (yes i did search) that this turbo manifold will bolt up to a 2.0 Beta 1 engine... is this true, because if it is im going to buy for sure.
Shop 1A Auto for 1991-94 2.0L 4cyl (Turbo) (w/Manual Transmition) (http://www.1aauto.com/1A/ExhaustManifolds/Mitsubishi/Eclipse/PLP1390033/294305)

the 4g63/64 mitsu motors are a swap for the early elantras, i doubt this will work in the 01+elantras.
check rdtiburon or newtiburon, i bet you will find a used one there for a decent price.

i'm going to say no it won't. the beta one engine is a bit too varied from the mitsu motors of the earlier years. check rdtiburon tho since that is the best place to go for beta1 boosting

I'm pretty sure you will need to enlarge two of the bolt holes, but other than that it should just bolt up.
There may be a question about the ports matching though. I'm not sure, but you may have to either port the manifold, or the head to have the ports match.

hmm... well i will look around. but shoot if we could make this work i could piece together a 200whp kit for under 3000 dollars.
gosh i hope this will work
alpine sells thier stage 2 turbo kit for less than 3K and it makes 212Whp. and no the manifold wont bolt up but will only on pre-95 hyundais that used mitsu engines.

226whp for the alpine kit... i believe they used a different kind of dyno too so those numbers may actually be lower than actual. i say that because they used a different dyno for their entry level kit.
what turbo are you planning on using?

it won't bolt up.
this has been beat to death a bizzillion times.
The holes don't line up, they have to be ported out..
the location of the turbo on this manifold is a major PITA because it almost leaves no room between the power steering pump and the turbine housing...
totally suxors....
Get a real turbo kit from alpine or someone who knows what they are doing... just my suggestion. lol

like i said im gonna get mine and throw a gasket on it to see how close it is so there is actual proof not just everyones speculation.
a little porting isnt that big of a deal
and
no power steering pump = no problem

ports and all except for one bolt hole line up. nothing the die grinder wont fix. looks like the stock dsm downpipe might even work out. the bolt hole that needs help is the bottom left one, the rest are right where they should be. ill get some pictures if i get a chance

ok well now that i know the only way to make this work is not to do it!
Well good think Kspec sellsthis cast iron manifold for t3 turbo (http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=85&ai_id=612) for only 350 $ which is a good deal.
Now does anyone know of anyone that has this type of manifold from Kspec?
if so please let me know how good the quality is.
so i figure if i buy this manifold and my target hp is 200-250, then i'll prob spend about 3000 $ which is cheeper than buying a new car. so that is my plan.
now i just have to get the money... haha. won't take too long. i hope... better stop eating subway foot longs for a while, cut down to the 6 inchers you know what i mean? haha
