I ran into some trouble with my SAFC II and need some answers. I called APEXI; asked for the wiring diagram and the sensor Numbers (PR-3), checked my wiring and still a MIL light P108-106. Does it have to do with running 7 psi. anyone have anything to add to this?

Another subject, can the stock fuel pump can handle this type of boost? I have a 190 walbro in mine now with 290 cc inj. for fuel. along with SAFC. I know thats plenty for the motor, it sucks trying to boost on a buget.

The SAFC is thw WORST way to possibly tune a turbo. The stock ecu will override the settings. You better off getting a piggyback unit.

theres plenty of turbo guys that will hopefully answere the question better but with only 7 psi i think you should stick with the 190 lph walbro, as for the wiring diagram someone gave it to me bc i have an safc2 but never hooked it up(due to what yamaha said), lol...7psi is what about 175-185 whp..did you put your own kit together or buy from someone?(ill have to find the diagram its somewhere around here)

You should keep all your posts concerning this problem in one thread so that it is easier to compile information/opinions in one place. You may want to add spec of the engine you are boosting, the turbo setup etc....

Im assuming its a BetaII... and yea many people say that SAFC doesn't work well with our engines...

As much as it sucks to hear this, but you'd be better off finding a Greddy e-Manage. You can find one on eBay for pretty cheap (though $250 isn't necessarily all that cheap).

The answers above re: the SAFC are correct. I've comtemplated adding an SAFC, but the ECU won't have it. The piggy back Greddy will do better for you, and will be better for system expansion in the future. Plus, this ECU has a 16x16 fuel map, making tuning so much easier than looking at % or numbers.

Good luck...
