alright... So I've got the mod bug again.... I've got about $80 sitting in my paypal account from the sale of my underdrive pulley & I'm itching to spend it.

Take a look at my member profile (Links in the sig) to see what i've already got.

I've been thinking about those chrome headlights that you can get on ebay

because my passenger side headlight is horribly oxidized & my driver side headlight is missing a tab & sits funny. Any one have either stock headlight for sale by the way?

I'm thinking I'm going to get some of those vent visors that go along the track of your windows because I smoke... Like these: http://www.hyundaiaccessorystore.com/media/ventvisor-elantra.jpg

I've been thinking about the chrome door sills like these: http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1811&highlight=door+sill
But I'm not sure if it's too much bling for me... hmmm...

Sooo... what do you think? No major mods but something up to $150 would be alright...

Hi:

You should buy the OEM KDM spec crhome headlights (if you want crhome). They will cost you about 240 the pair shipping included (close to the ones on ebay for 190 and 120 w/o shipping but OEM). Sometimes aftermarket headlights and tail lights are cr#@. Here is the link:

And, if you want to change your grill, your best options are Compact Divisions (carbonman) :bowdown: were you could find fiber glass and carbon fiber grills and Motor Impact they sell the M&S (grills beautifull) on sale.

hey guys, thanks for the tips on the grill but I'm leaning towards just modifying my stock grill by meshing the middle & painting the "frame" black.

As far as headlights go, does anyone have any of the aftermarket ones that are listed on ebay? I know that *some* aftermarket parts are junk but there's a lot of good stuff out there too. I could get those for about $160 shipped whereas the KDM ones are much more.

Don't know of anyone with them yet. They are new in the market(released about 4 months ago) and they look alike to the KDM spec OEM's.

well, I've not seen any threads about them so hopefully someone will chime in that's actually seen some in the flesh & installed them.

I'm open to any other suggestions outside of headlights though... I'm just not sure what yet...

Personally I suggest two appearance items, within your budget.
Clear sidemarkers, and chrome interior handles.
With these two things you will be reminded of your mods both when you're driving and when you're just gazing at your ride.

Hey man I had the KDM chrome headlights that I bought from kspec.com in my old elantra for about 2 years with no problems. As for the ebay ones I odnt know what company makes them, but if you could find out be4 you buy them then let us know maybe someone here can help ya.

I personally like the chrome door sills. I think the clear side markers would look good as well. I however dont like the 01-03 MS grills as they have the M on them. I like the 04-06 ones tho because the M can be replaced with the H.
