So just wanted to throw it out there to everybody,.. but i broke my leg last wednesday at work,.. Man I love workmans comp! I get paid to sit at home on my *** for at least 3 weeks. The damned part of it is that it happened to be my driving foot,.. now i gotta "higher a wheelman". I go in for surgery on Monday and get a plate or two,.. and a few screws. So everybody kick some *** for me while i'm out (street, strip, whatever).

well,. surgery went ok i guess,.
now it's just a waiting game,. i'v been telling all of my friends that i hurt it in a drag racing accident, but i really slipped and fell on top of it and it cracked like 3 or 4 times,.. so 9 screws and a metal plate later... I'm slowly on my way to becomming the bionic man. they wanted to give me "spinal blok" ( the anestisiologist was from the ukrane i think) I guess i'm just not a fan of having a needle in my back and being paralyzed from the waist down. so i went for the happy gass. man it sucks trying to sleep with a cast on. i'll see if i can get some pics of it up for u guys 2 check out

yeah, shots in teh back are no fun, when i broke my left ankle (a few months after breaking my right) they had to give me a shot for pain and i took it in teh left cheek, and couldnt roll over onto my back for a few hours

Sleeping with a cast is nothing compared to trying to shower/bath with a cast... that sucks. Get better soon - at least you're getting paid.

nothing compares to going to bed and waking up in screaming pain to realize that you have a loft kit in college (6 feet in the air) and an ankle that is already broken and another one that you cant feel except for mind numbing pain. when they took my blood pressure, it was so high that it was almost double what was normal for my body build.

Just wanted to update everbody on the situation. I finally got back on the internet today after not having it for a week,... man it's like crack!! got a new black cast put on 2 fridays ago, hopefully i'm done with all of this "stuff" when they say i'll be,.. Good old St. Patty's day,.. the one and only drinking holiday.
I drove last sunday for the first time in 1/2 a month. Man it felt good to be behind the wheel again. It really sucks when you have to ride in your own car! Not to mention my gf backing into 3 snowbanks and bottoming it out twice. I was real happy about that one!
Other than that, not too much new. The blonde haired demon moved out.. as to that being the reason that I didn't have internet.
I was talking to my mom the other day and she told me that some time down the road the insurance company is going to offer me a buyout on the broken leg. Elantra paid off and new Volvo here I come, or at least a non-ford Volvo. Really, I have no idea what to get for a buyout. But, if anybody knows a seedy lawyer who works for little money.. sign me up. I'm in Minnesota. Other than that,.. everybody hang in there and "keep the race runnin"

Well.. just checking in again. I got the cast off yesterday. I' was walking on it before it came off but, not that it mattered. The stupid helper monkey decided that she couldn't see 1/2 of the stitches she cut 4 weeks ago so i had to do that myself. Dr. told me to use crutches till monday but, screw that. I'm back driving again and man does it feel good to have controled power in my hands again. (unlike when i was driving with my left foot) But, i got a classic snowmobile show and swap meet to go to, and the minneapolis auto show tomorrow so i have to be going,.. thanks for all the support
