i doint know how that would work...unless they have different boost levels, but i would think one would override the other...

it is possible, i just forget what the dual charge is called. here is how they work (basically i really dont have an understanding of it, since i dont have a F/I setup... so correct me if im wrong)

a supercharger takes power from the engine to create more power, thus not being as stong as a good turbo setup. a turbo charger takes incoming air to spin a turbine to create the added power, and takes no power from the engine to create more power.

you dont have to have two different boosts i think. but what happens is the supercharger in theory would take off of some of the turbo lag by creating a boost for the turbo to feed off of to spin faster and create even more power.

Thats pretty sweet. I just went to VW's website and there was nothing on there about this new Golf. But it sounds like it would be a very nice car, VW's are way to expensive though for the most part.

Repost..... But didn't Alpine make a Turbo/Super Charger Prototype for the BetaII engine for SEMA or something like that?
