Scary...............

What? There must be some mistake! But chances are you -- like an estimated 90% of the population -- have some form of herpes. Stop wondering where it came from and learn how to live with it.
By Duane Swierczynski | From Men's Health Magazine

SARS. West Nile. Ebola. These are the "A-list" viruses.

If one of them decides to star in a major outbreak, Ashleigh Banfield will be there in a pink biohazard suit to report on the big event. Scary stuff.

Then there's herpes. It goes about its business of infecting the human race with little or no fanfare, mainly because it isn't the serial killer that the other viruses are. But what herpes lacks in lethal force, it makes up for in mobility. The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta estimates that at least 45 million adults carry the genital strain of the disease. And 65% of us are likely to have oral herpes. (If you've had a cold sore, you probably have it. That's how the virus commonly manifests itself in our bodies.)

We are a nation of herpes carriers. Worse, we're carrying a disease for which there is no cure. But there is a plan. Specifically, strategies that will help you keep herpes in hibernation, outsmart the outbreaks, and prevent the love of your life from turning into the object of your infection.

Durrrrrrrrr didn't you guys watch the new "war of the worlds" and learn anything? The reason we can actually EXIST in regions across the whole globe is because our immune system can rapidly adapt to all the crazy little diseases and bacteria that are around the world. The more bacteria you are exposed to over the long term, the more of a "work out" your immune system gets, thus making it stronger for when the "really dangerous" bacteria attack you.

PS: Hyundai used to call their base level elantra and sonata the "STD" trim...

while we are on the subject of making felix vomit, the human head is disgusting. there are tiny insects that burrow into the folical of the hairs and feed on your skin cells. everyone has them, and there is no way to get rid of them. they are just small enough to not trigger the nerves so we would feel them

man, this thread has me looking at my hands, and feeling things on my head that aren't actually there, or might be there just that I never felt before. Stop it...I dread to think of where this thread is going.
