ehhh... for $250, you're likely not getting much, and he probably hasnt flowbench tested his work.
I would want to see before and after dyno sheets, before commiting to spend the loot on it.As long as you take your time porting, you could prob buy a head and do it cheaper yourself

unless you have a flowbench, you're likely just wasting your time. and you will probably mess up alot of heads before you get any kind of positive results.
and good porting supplies arent cheap either.
I figure you'd be looking at close to $1000 for a homeade flowbench and porting supplies, in addition to buying heads to massacre while you're learning.

I remember reading on HA that the bete doesn't really respond that well to porting and polishing, or muti angle jobs either. seems like a waste of time.
The guys from kore also told me the same thing, but that doesnt hold much wieght with me. I beleive random wrote a whole big thing about it.

Im not sure what type of gains you are looking for from P&P jobs, after all it is only an I4 engine. I would say that you will gain anywhere from 8-10% hp gain over the stock head. Throw some cams in there and things will come alive in a hurry, just cams make a nice difference in our engine so this leads me to believe that the head flow is terrible to start with. This doesnt mean im gonna jump right in on this deal, but a good P&P job is overall worth it if you are dedicated to engine mods and performance.
