Those are the type of accidents where an officer should definately be involved. Some crazy old lady slammed into my girlfriend's car and tried to leave saying that it wasn't her car and she had to go pick someone up. I told her that, as old as she was, if she left I would press charges for leaving the scene of an accident and it would go from exchanging paper work to some jail time. She tried threatening the officer saying she new people. Woh, way off topic but good luck with getting that taken care of. Make moves quick - Subvibe

Congrats on working this out...and so quickly. As people always mention in these cases, if you're going to get a check for this maybe think about upgrading and saving some money not going with factory parts - Subvibe

New fascia, new fender, straightened hood, paint..... $1500-2000.

with the way body shops really are? $3000+. lets paint match the doors and the hood and the other side of the car just to make sure everything looks right.. and hey lets get you OEM recycled parts & charge you for a brand new OEM one! (just saying.. thats what happened to me. my damage was less too.. check the profile :P)

im sure a good body shop will do it for $2k.. but most will charge upwards of 3k :(

and for paint, buy it yourself from paintscratch.com so you know it matches, and have a shop paint it for you, that way you only have to pay for their labor. the reall trick is finding a shop that will do that
