Well, in the last stage of my install, which is installing the emanage and dyno tuning it...
which I'm praying will happen tomorrow night...
But I thought I'd share some sneek peaks I took with my cell phone today...
Course I own a tib, but it's a built beta II engine (for what I've done to the engine check out the link in my signature then go to "the_car")

tight...
ssa manifold????
LoL, was wondering if someone would catch that... actually your right and your wrong...
It technically is a SSA manifold, but it's been chopped and tuned...
The did a better job on cleaning out the inside of the runners and everything, they cut off the flange and added some support and did some other stuff to it, angled it completly diff (cause as anyone know's you can't fit anything bigger than a regular t3 on that manifold, if that) -- It was done this way to essentially test the manifold after it has been modified and craeted stronger...
Since the original problem with the SSA manifolds was how the flange is attached, there is no support, so after awhile the flange falls off - lol, this was changed completly redone...
Now it's just on the car basically because I wanted my car before next year (*sarcasim*) and while they are creating a new manifold for the car I'm going to use the modified manifold and see how it holds up. Really after the modifications it should be a good manifold... the weilds and merges on it are damn near perfect except for the t3 flange support....
looks good...so how did you run the intercooler piping?
it's just basic bends...
soon as I get better pics you will see what I mean.

Well looks good so far dude, I remember when you first posted the teaser pics of the Gude kit. Things have come a long way since then. Well done, keep up in the loop!

I have a feeling his eManage install didn't go as smooth as he had hoped.

This sounds like some first hand experience? I hate snags when it comes to installs, but love hearing about others frustrations.
What plans do you have for boost levels? I took a peek at your site, gonna be a nice tib once things are all said and done.

When I first got my Alpine kit it had a prototype Alpine piggyback ECU. I toyed with the idea of the eManage but when I found out GReddy offers no support whatsoever for installing it on a Hyundai I stayed away. They don't even acknowledge it can be even installed and tuned on a Hyundai. Since then I haven't heard of one person getting both the fuel and timing working right using an eManage.

Well time will tell, seems like hes put some cash into this project. I hope it works out well for him.

The car was running today... all I can say...
They told me it was running and they were checking the all the connections with the eManage-U after the slightly modified the fuel rail to fit the injectors (65lb / 690cc)
I only got a hold of the guy that didn't know much, the shop owner was busy working on my car at the time I called, so thats all I found out... Gonna ride up there tomorrow hopefully if I wake up with time to spare...
Also, the guy installing the eManage is probably one of the best around (in FL) he works with GReddy very fequently... actually it was funny cause I checked on something, he told me they were having a problem with one of the eclipses they were having and that GReddy has only seen this problem 8 times around the country so far... so I called to check on it, to my suprise the guy I talked to at GReddy knew the guy at my shop by first name, right of the top of his head... so... ;) ;)
More to come soon as I find out...

eManage Ultimate was in the car and working on all parts... EXCEPT... Ignition...
Turns out that there isn't a transistor in the coil, instead it's in our ECU, so now we have to pull the signal off'a transistor on the ecu before it goes through the transistor, then have it come from the eManage back to the transistor on the ECU board, should solve the problem there... They are working on that tonight...
Other than that the fuel was in there and on and the told me the car was idling great (with 690cc injectors) and that it was running for about a hour before they couldn't figure out whats going on with the ignition...
Now I could always go to a MSD setup, but then I loose some timing features of the eManage-U... and more money lost, so we're trying to do it completly with the eManage-U
and I went custom for a reason (which you will see when the numbers are out...)
this shop has almost 24/7 access to a dyno, the car will be dyno and street tuned. ;)
