and no, i dont mean in the literal sense. i mean music (do i ever talk about anythings else here?)

I'm really into ska (more of the lesser knows, not really sublime or any shiat like that) but yeah, post bands that you think i should check out
I find that certain ska songs are great for driving, and I want more of that energy.
Here is what i have/like:

Against All Authority
Dance Hall Crashers
Operation Ivy
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (Big band swing, but lets count that anyway)
Snuff
Oskama Bin Laden and the Jihad Jammers (A local band that sadly broke up, Skadomy was their best song ever!)

anything else would be greatly appreciated.

well, ska is pretty much the perfect "cruising" music

if anyone has AIM, i have my computer up and running again, so if anyone wants to transfer some to me, that would be cool.

MU330 - more punkish
No Doubt - I know they're pop, but if you haven't heard "The Beacon Street Collection." you'll want to.
Agent 99
Let's Go Bowling
Mustard Plug
Skankin' Pickle
Skavoovie & the Epitones
Cherry Poppin' Daddies
Fishbone - more punkish
Less Than Jake
Goldfinger
Mephiskapheles
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Reel Big Fish
Save Ferris
Squirrel Nut Zippers

I can get you some of those via Limewire if you use it or Paypal me a couple bucks for mailing and I'll send you a CD full of MP3s.

Most of those names are 3rd wave ska. There's a ton of older stuff out there too that's amazing.

The O.C. Supertones and Five Iron Frenzy are two of my absolute favorites. Ska is just so much fun to listen to. Especially live! I'd send you some songs, but I've only got them on MiniDisc - dang copy protection!

WTF LOL Peter Tosh is just the lead singer in The Wailers, and since it's Bob Marley and The Wailers, then Bob > Peter

I do have a Tosh album though (greatest hits). I dont like it that much. Marley is more "intelligent" music, and im not talking about all those mainstream crappy songs like "one love" lol

all marley sang about was getting high and politics... tosh had more depth to his songs than that
