View Full Version : Saw someone get owned. Better yet - got it on video.

So I was sitting at a light last night... In front of me is a Celica and a 3000GT. I thought they were about to race, so I busted out my camera and started taping.

Green light comes on, and they both take off normally - but I'm still filming. Next thing I know I look to the left, and there is a cop car comming right at with it's lights on (like his path of travel intersecting mine).

So I slam on my brakes, and let him through. He makes a left and gets right behind the car in front of me, and pulls him over. I don't even know WTF he pulled him over for, I didn't see that person doing anything wrong.

could be the muffler, tints, the way the car took off, that car could have been racing around and the cops get a call about it or the cop could of been a ball buster.

Well, he had like 30+ cars to choose from... lol

On that street people travel in big packs, and race from lights. Chill at gas stations, etc... I think the cops are starting to crack down hardcore on that spot though. I saw soooooo many cops last night, clocking people's speed with LASER. My radar detector was going off every 5 seconds, so I was like **** that... Pulled into one of the gas stations where there were like 40 cars chilling, and there goes a cop pulling in with his lights saying "Ohhh yea.... all those cars would look sooo purty on the back of a tow truck. Get out of here.. now..." on his speaker. I took a video of him too, lol.

yep they are doin the same thing here in waco, texas crackin down on our bigass street where we all hang out its like a 1-2 big *** mile of resturants, gas stations and stores

yep they are doin the same thing here in waco, texas crackin down on our bigass street where we all hang out its like a 1-2 big *** mile of resturants, gas stations and stores

This street is more like 20 miles long, and 9 lanes wide.... :)

Yeah, I live 5 miles from there. It's always been a popular location, especially with the Alamo and West Oaks sitting right there.

i saw a special a couple weeks back about street racing, the footage was shot in canada. all i have to say is canadian pigs suck a@#!!! they want to pull you over for ANYTHING, mufflers, wings, cause they thing that stuff is used for racing. im sooo glad to live in indiana, cops dont care about anything, you could probably drive an indy car around town, and not get caught!!

I think I watched the same special. It was saying that there are task force forming everywhere because of aftermarket companies making parts, that are usually considered illegal mods, available to everyone. Just like in any other illegal venue, the police want to find the people organizing events and whatnot to set an example. I'm trying to move out to California and I haven't looked into much but I'm hoping all of the mods I do are okay when I get there - Subvibe

Dude, how are you gonna tell me which street I was driving on? lol, I LIVE ON WESTHEIMER! Not to mention that I lived on the west side of Houston my whole life.

I'm not sure I've taken that exactly at Highway 6 light. It was somewhere between Wilcrest and Highway 6 - I don't remember exactly where, but I thought it was @ Hwy6.

I took WESTHEIMER all the way from Galleria, driving past highway 6 to the races. Richmond doesn't even have that many lanes!!! For ****s and giggles, drive west on westheimer from Wilcrest - I bet you a left testicle you'll see that shell on your right side.

Anyone who can possibly confuse Richmond with Westheimer needs to end themselves. :abovelol:
