I need some opinions. This is important and this thread has a reason to be.

Who here thinks that evan should come back? Or not? Comments are appreciated, but keep it clean. Mods, don't close this, it's really not an attempt to piss anyone off. Please show some maturity. I will post what I think once I get any replies.

well, I think that if we can tolerate his putting newbies in their places (according to guidelines. That would be, if someone asks a question that has been asked a million times, but it is in the Newbie forum, then they are untouchable), then I would definately appreciate having his knowledge back again. He's a great guy (having met him now) and I know that I take what he says into consideration when doing something to my car.

though he is very knowledgeable, i do feel that he should come back under one condition. he lighten up a bit on the newer members. he too was once a newb here, and the new guys need a chance to learn before being attacked for their ignorance.

He is a great source for information from what I have seen in his threads/post and if he thinks everyone hates him then let the people who hate him speak up in this thread and we will talk about it, im sure he is reading this. I dont hate him, I hate no one I was not brought up to hate. I may not have liked the way he treated some members like me for example, he got nasty with me a few times but hey forgive is to forget! and he also needs to work on his temper with noobs but im sure him and alot of other members know this.

If he can cool his jets, I don't think anyone would mind if he came back, but if he returned spitting fire all the time just like before he left, I think it'd drive a lot of people away. I know I personally was sick of it, and I got plenty of complaints about it.

I think this poll is a bit biased anyway - why not just label it yes/no? He didn't stop coming because people were like, "Dude that evan guy doesn't know anything about Elantras." The reason people were upset at him was because he was being a hothead.

evan doesn't post anymore not because he thinks everyone hates him. in fact he doesn't give a DAMN that anyone hates him. i am going to leave out why he doesn't but its not because he felt "unloved" haha. and this is a pointless thread. i doubt he'll come back

THE reason (notice the emphasis on THE) that evan does not want to come back is due a certain number of members that evan cuts wrists for everytime he reads their posts. He realized that reading retarded posts that induce him to physically hurt himself was not good for his health.

And also I chat with him on AIM so I know the truth. ;)

Honestly, I dont understand why we are having this discussion. I have nothing against Evan. Hes actually the only person, other than myself and mom, who have driven my car. If Evan wants to come back, let him come back on his own term. We shouldnt be having a "rally" to get him back. Noone should be "catching feelings" off what people say on the internet.

But I do agree with 03Silver Bullet in one way that Evan needs to cool down with his responses to newb threads. I also find it really annoying and just overall wrong.

I find this thread kinda funny actually. Evan is leaving because of the way people think about him on here. Evan has stoppedn posting because of his negative public opinion formed through some of our more outspoken members. Kinda like how Evan bashes the newbs and they never come back. Ironic huh.

Evan is an awesome kid that knows his stuff. He is one of my closest friends off of the boards. He left for reasons, and personally, even though I voted yes, know he will not be posting here again.

I said yes to him coming back, but at the same time perhaps all he needed was some time away from this place. He is very smart when it comes to issues around here, but as stated needs to cut down on newb-bashin! I mentioned this to one other member before who was doing it and he is still around here and posts useful information on almost everything. Evan will come back one way or another, even if he was banned he could open a new account, its just a matter of him wanting to be here. So IMO (which on an internet forum we all know doesnt matter) this is and isnt a useless post, yes he will come back but now its like we have praised him or raised him on to a platform for knowing some stuff. Yes I like evan but lets just leave this issue at what it is.
