I was too lazy to make multiple posts in each section that the info belongs.. so this post covers a few topics :)
I just ordered a new server to replace my mudz.org/skeetre.com/hyundaimeet.com server. It's been having problems, power supply died, one of the scsi harddrives died, now it's online/offline/online, etc like every 10 mins. I've been running the server off a celeron 2.66gig with 512mb ram in the mean time.
I ordered an asus board with nvidia 6150 onboard video
4 sata II ports
1 firewire
4 usb 2.0
2 ide channels
2x1gb mushkin green pc3200 ram
Amd athlon 64 x2 4200 2.2ghz Cpu (w/2x128k and 2x512k cache)
asus dual layer +- dvd burner also, $5 off by getting it with the motherboard
Overnight shipping, should be here by Friday, if it ships tomorrow like it should. I probably could have got 2 day shipping and had it Friday, but overnight was only $2.30 more. $676 total
My grill finally came in today, my fiancee put it in her car to bring me... and then I forgot to get it from her. Doesn't matter though...
clarion and I worked on the car today, hid the wires going to my car processor thing that attaches to the touch screen dvd receiver for gforces, torque, navigation, etc. And mounted the units under the passenger seat, first time I've ever pulled out a seat in the car, was pretty easy, and cool :)
Then I dropped the car off at the shop, getting the Tiburon/Sonata brakes swapped in on the front, F1 racing clutch and Fidanza flywheel installed, and a new timing belt. $150, $395, and $250 resp. I wanted to get the turbo installed, but I need the car back to drive to work on Monday, and they said it'd take at least a week, along with these other parts... so I figured to do these things now, do the turbo in another couple weeks.
