View Full Version : Cracked Windshield Replaced

well, just got the car back from getting the windshield replaced after it cracked. so now my car is not 98+% korean made since the new windshield is by PPG and my pocket is $220 lighter. the install seems ok at this point 'cept for couple little things that only i would notice since it's my car. the black trim on the side of the windshield shows more on one side than the other by a frackion of an inch and for that reason it look like the driver side A pillar isn't sitting flush... i pulled it off and put it back on to make sure it was on the way it's suppoed to be and it's still the same. i also noticed that the shop messed up one of clips on that trim. and the final annoyance is that the manufacturer's stamp is in the bottom center now instead of lower right. oh wells. let's see how long this one will last
