t3/t4 turbo
standalone
stage 3 clutch
head work
airram/TB
all pulleys
light flywheel
weight reduction
lite rims
slicks
nitrous

Not that much man. A couple of guys on RDtiburon are running in the high 13's

I am going to try. (accepting donations for slicks) hehe

well since you have a manual im guessing about a 120 shot of nitrous and whatever you may need to keep the engine alive

atleast 250 whp...but 300 would more than likely do it...if you go to fords sight..i think there is a calculator about this...andyou plug in the weight and horsepower and it gives you a theorical time

Stocks probably run mid 16s to 17s...
Stock volkswagon GTI's "only" run in the 15's (2004 model). Stock Evos or STIs run mid 13's.

cypher...dont forget that the clutch and flywheel combo will make a big difference...a no name cluthc will more than likely not perform like a clutchmasters will...and you cold take off from a higher rpm without burning up the clutch

A SR stage 2 turbo kit (250 whp with stock everything), Airram (turbocharged will give about 30 Crank hp), L/W flywheel and stage 3 clutch (no clutch slipping and fast iddle), solid motor mounts (front and rear), L/W rims, a 3" catback (like 15hp more), adjustable camgear (like 5hp), a 3" downpipe, BBTB (better response) , and a nice reaction time. Slicks will help a lot.

This will make it 13 mids to high, easy.

It will be like 6k you installing everything.

ummm yeah only i know that i need a stronger clutch... no one has a SR turbo. i think 250whp will get us into 13s if you're a good drier that is

I/H/E/P/IM/TB, slicks or DR's, clutch with lighter FW, 60-75 shot of nitrous, and a good driver would put XD into 13s.
With weight reduction mid 13s should be possible.

if the heavier Tiburon can get into the 13's with 250 whp, then the Elantra should be able to do the same. I dunno how much of an effect gearing will have tho.
