i have no idea whatyou mean by that

you want to know how to stop the cel??

buy the sharkracing 4-1 header without the extra lousy pipe that most headers come with....get your stock cat..and either bolt it up DIRECTLY to the header flange and have a shop drill a hole in the rear of your cat and smack that 2nd o2 sensor in there...and there you have it...no cel!!!!!

and if you want to still have the gains of the header and pollute alot but not have a cel..then smash out all of the cat's material...cram a pipe in it..making sure you seal up most of the edges...and you will have no cel...it works for me....my cel days are over since i did this

I have the o2 sim from o2simulator.com and it worked fine i have no CEL light and i have the obx headers

Install a cat between both o2 you should have no cel.

You can buy them at pretty much most auto parts stores fro $4~$5...

Its called , Spark plug anti-fouler... You will need 18mm. I have them on my second O2 due to hotshot header.

This works for those who have P0420 code...

i had a mechanical o2 simulator. worked while i was running catless, once i added a high flow cat, it didnt work. i had to just move the 2nd bung downstream of the cat.

I had that same sensor on mine when I had a cheap Ebay header. It worked fine for me (but I only had the header on the car for like 200 miles or so).

i think the elantra takes about 200 miles or maybe more for the system check as far as being ready for an emissions test

its not the mileage that guages when the car runs its tests. you should know this. the car runs test based off of speed. at certain speeds the car is running different tests to make sure everything is running perfect. ideally if ur testing for a cel the best thing is to go on the freeway, then drive around town. maybe a 15 minute to 30 minute drive where you can vary ur speeds.

you can run an aftermarket header, with an aftermarket exhaust and have a high flow cat in there. its quieter and still way more free flowing than stock everything. i ran catless and hated it.
