what tools are needed to remove a muffler.??? and um if a car has an alarm will the alarm go off?? :cool: kiddn...

the stock one unbolts from the bend by the rear suspension and it has a couple hangers...so a ratchet and the appropriate socket and a screwdriver
and now that you bring it up, my alarm went off on me when i was wiring my amp cause i left the doors open too long or some ****...scared the piss outta me

yeah.. I disconnected the battery today while working under the hood. After reconnecting it I went indoors for a while without closing the hood and the alarm went off...

Try to always disconnect the battery when working on the car...the shop that installed my custom exhaust didn't even unplug the battery, but they did have my keys...i kind of wish I knew whether or not it went off on them, the mental image of the whole shop jumping in fright is mildly amusing...

Yeah, when we were test fitting my CAI from ebay (Don't get me started), we took the battery, air filter, etc. off....When we put it all back in, and set up tha battery, tha car alarm goes crazy...Like in that dane cook sketch.....LMAO, My friend and I both jumped about 2 feet in tha air...lol
