Avatar 100*100 pixels

I propose you to make the avatar's size 100*100 pixels - in our site we use it - look - it seems better (It's only my opinion)

I think the reason that it's 80x80 is due to the avatar being above the post, by the user name. If we had avatars off to the side (like the thumbnail you posted) then I guess it wouldn't matter so much. I don't personally see a need to make it any bigger than it is, but there may be many others here that diagree with me....

yeah, much like hyunelan said, with the avatars over the posts it would be too much...but come on now, this is an elantra site, we come here for the car, not our avatars...

Sometimes it annoys me, but I agree with jfreak:
I don't come to this site to check out the latest avatars
