I have to take my car in tomorrow to get the Left CV Joint replaced... just wondering if an SRI will void the warranty... should i remove it and put the stock airbox back in jus for the dealership?

Search. No, a SRI will not void a warranty for your CV joint. They have to be able to prove that the aftermarket part is what made the warrantied part fail!

Better to be safe then sorry.. Some dealer ships are assholes and they look to void your warrenty if you have mods to the car.

They're both right. It doesn't void your warranty but why give them any excuse to give you a hard time?

Yes, you are both right. However, why be punished for improving the factory specs on the car. If it was something that was in doubt that maybe they might be able to prove it was my fault for putting in the aftermarket part...but to my limited knowledge, there is no direct correlation between SRI and CV Joints.
