: Editing delay, PLEASE SIR!

OK I used to edit all my posts with something along the lines of:
"2 minutes unedited editing please sir", but I gave up doing that a few months ago now.

I REALLY find it annoying though, that after I enter a post, and find something I didn't spell right, or something I forgot, it presents a "Edited by:" message.

So in conclusion, please allow 2 minutes unedited editing time, it is a SIMPLE change but would mean a lot to many people, hopefully... ;)

Sincerely,
Mark

Please do allow it... I know it's just the internet but I still take pride in correct spelling and no matter how many times I re-read my words in the "Reply To Thread" dailog, invariably I don't spot the typos 'til I see my reply posted :)

I changed it from 0 minutes to 1 minute.

Just because I like you.

I use IESpell (http://www.iespell.com/). Works great (but with IE based browsers only).

Oh my. Any chance of increasing this? Not the end of the world, but such a nuisance seeing the "edited..." barely a minute after you've posted and gone back to fix a spelling error or add a thought. It would be such a lovely thing to see this at at least 5min., or better yet 15min. :)

Nope, not making it any longer. Then people would say extra stupid stuff and then go back and change it all the time. I like to know when people are saying extra stupid stuff.

Okely dokely. LOL. 'Twas just a passing wishful thought on my part. :)

Kind of an interesting poll, though. Kind of like an ISP offering you a poll of "Should we go to 65Gigs bandwidth, or stay at 60?". Not an option to go to 100, or 80, but 65. ;)
