I am looking to put either a CAI or a SRI. Now I know that the SRI is easier to hook up but I've heard that the SRI has a big disadvantage. With the filter being right there next to the engine, you don't get the cold air like you do with the CAI. Is this true? What are your opinions?

Option #1. Search! I am contemplating asking Super to start a new forum specifically for all of the threads about SRI vs CAI. There are so many it's not even worth answering right now!
Option #2. You want to feel like the car is taking off quicker from the line? Put in an SRI. You want to have the feeling of a small kick of power in the higher rpm's, get a CAI. The difference between the installs is a good 10 minutes of work.

It's ok, we've all been noobs before so it's not like I'm going to tell you that you're not allowed to post or anything. (Nor do I have the power to do that, even if I wanted to)
Anyway, search is a little tricky to use when you're not sure what you're looking for, so I can understand if you need to ask a few questions to get yourself started.
