I just got my intake and everything seems simple for installation except the plug on top of the stock hose for the intake. What is it for and what do I do with it since it doesn't plug into the new intake? Anyone who can help I would really appreciate it!!
All figured out. Thanks for input everyone!!

What kind of intake did you get? It should hook up to a nipple on the new intake.

You posted this in appearace and should have posted in naturally asp, but that's ok cause I will answer the question for you anway.
I am assuming you mean the MAF sensor. The electrical like plug that attached to the stock hosing? You are going to want to take your CAI, cut a little bit out of it, buy 2 more couplers and do something like this (YOUR ROUTING MAY VARY TO BEHIND THE BATTERY THIS ISNT THE ONLY WAY TO ROUTE A CAI TO THE COLD AIR)

I don't think he is talking about the MAF I think he is talking about the vacuum hose, I could be wrong here but I always assumed it was to create suction for the intake, not too sure if it's ok to drive without it hooked up or not.

yea its not good to drive without the vacum hose attached to the intake piping..you'll get a cel.... "check engine light".
