I think if it had been a GT it would have been better.
Every review I see is for the gls. And the stock handling of that car is on the scary side. I bet if it was a 5speedgt it would have done even better.

The only difference between the GLS and the GT suspension wise is that the rear sway bar is .2mm larger, which makes no real world difference. So in turn they handle practically the same.

The struts are also slightly stiffer on the GT and I think the springs might be too according to www.hmaservice.com. And the wheels are .5" wider.

i think stock you can notice a difference in handling. I have driven about 1000 of each model. Thats only my 2 cents

I knew there was a reason I liked these guys. I've listened to them for years. And as for their negative comments, everyone will find something wrong... even with a Lexus.
