So Saturday at the Hyundai meet I saw a Beta 2 intake manifold on a Beta 1 motor. I think.
So here's my question...which manifold is freer flowing, Beta 1, beta 2, or beta 2 cvvt. Does nayone know this offhand?
And does anyone have information on how hard a custom fabricated intake manifold would be to design? I feel that our options are somewhat limited other than porting and polishing or going with the airram for $600. I wish there were a simpler, smaller manifold available that we could get for a price similar to headers, say $400 or less. It seems like it would be in the realm of possibility to do...I guess I just want to get some feedback on this idea.
I don't really have a specific purpose in mind yet, I'm just testing the waters I suppose...
