i was just wondering if this would fit my car its a 2002 elantra hatchback stock suspension the wheels are 17x7 the tyres are 235/45/17 with a offset of +40

its 40mm from the center of the rim...i will draw a graphic...give me a minute.

ok if i get spacers can it help? or should i put them on do a huge burnout and buy new tyes?

here is the pic...spacers will not help...they will just push the wheel further out! and it will rub for sure! with 40mm offset the most you could run would be a 205...if you wanted to roll your fenders you could run a 215...i hope this pic makes sense.
