I did some searching tring to find out how to program a new remote. All I can find is something bout fliping switch on ETACS? Where is this. And Is this the correct thing to be doing?
Your help on this is appreaciated. :bowdown:

Check the archives - I think there might be a picture of the switch somewhere in there. This sounds correct from what I remember. The ETACS box is located directly behind the ashtray - you'll have to pull the dash panel to get to it.

I see you have a 2001, so it should work. But for others who may see this and go to southpawboston's procedure, be aware that this does not work for 2004-06; you need the scan tool (I've talked to spb about this).

Anton wrote his article early in the 2004 model year and was not aware the ETACS had changed for that year.
