I have yet to find any info via google or even here, so here goes. Does anyone have any ideas of the weight of the stock steel rim used on the XD2 era Elantra? Every web site I can find seems to have info on every conceivable rim except a 15" steel rim of any width for any car.

Well its true... I have my other rims that are about 13lbs (w/ 20lb tires) and i can tell the difference... plus I used to work at a tire bay and I know how heavy tires/rims can be....
I put a set of XD stock 15"s on my 2000. They definitely weigh a lot more than the 14"s that were on previously (with heavy-a** snow tires even) Those MIchelins are heavy, expensive and definitely getting replaced ASAP. (with something else, obviously)

Both steels and OEM alloys weight around 37 to 38 lbs with OEM Michelins (tire is 19 lbs).
