It is definitely a nice feature, so long as they keep it cheap.

its nintendo, its prolly gonna drop the overall price of the xbox 360 and ps3 (before its even released) just to compete. the gamecube did that with the xbox and the ps2 and it really wasnt that great of a system.

The prob with gamecube was the lack of many 3rd party companies and the funky controller... but there are many games on it that excellent!
Oh btw... you can always just "hack" an xbox to play any other system's games using emulators....

^not only that ctele, but there was also a very big problem with the gamecube itself. me and my buddy ryan would play gauntlet for about 3 hours straight and then the gamecube would overheat and freeze and we had to wait an hour before playing again.

Yeah, the Revolution is going to be good. Honestly I haven't played many TurboGrafx games, but I'm sure there are some good ones. As for overall price, most people seem to think $200, some venture to say as low as $150, but I can't imagine it being that cheap. Keep in mind, this is being designed to innovate console gaming, not to simply add better graphics for the 3rd generation in a row. We'll see.

That's a problem with your/his Gamecube. Trust me, I've played various times for 6-8 hours in a row with no problems at all. The previous statement helps cement me as one of the biggest dorks on this site.
