ok, im looking for a new muffler. in about a month ill have my body kit on, and im not using the "fart pipe" (sad to see it go, lol). im getting the evo5 rear and the evo5 tip (http://jtautostyle.com/exhaust_specification.html). so whats a really great (performance and sound) muffler that fits in the factory spot.
throw some links up if you can.

www.hpracing.com thats where i had my dual upturn on my GLS and it was perfect, it had the perfect tone and would contour to any bumper perfectly

you dont understand. i need a muffler w/ a 2.25" inlet and a 2.25" outlet, so i can fab up a pipe to connect the muffler outlet to the evo5 tip. this muffler MUST sit into the factory location (tucked underneath). like a dynomax, flowmaster type.

interesting, if that is the case, then i will go to your local advance autoparts and you can pick up the thrush ($20) or dynomax (roughly $90 or so) and they should be perfect for you. I have yet to have a bad sound from a dynomax or thrush for that matter.

Dave go with the Borla XS. Its rated better than Magnaflow, Dynomax, and Flowmaster. You can get a 2.25in/out on Ebay for $80 shipped.
