1. It was my first semester of college. I went away to school in Houston. Going from an east coast city, to Houston, was a big change. They ate, talked, and dressed alot different than i did. The dorm was a nice size, and my room mate was this country guy from Oklahoma. I didnt really know anyone, so he was always trying to get me to hang out with him and his smoking friends.

Personally, he was cool, but his habits were nasty. He used to let his dirty clothes pile up in the corner. His funky, smoke-smelling, moist from humidity clothes. The whole room would be funky. I had to buy 5 air fresheners so I couldnt smell it.

The worst came one night when he had came back from drinking. He started eating this big bag of cheetos, and falls asleep. He then wakes up, leans over the side of the bed, and just throws up. No attempt to go for a trash can, just to throw up his stomach's entire contents. After he was through, he threw a towel on it, and went back to sleep. The smell of cheese, alcohol, and vomit almost made me throw up. He didnt pick up the towel for several days. Truly disgusting.

About half way through the semester, this chump lost his keys. Instead of getting a new one, he would leave the door unlocked. Not only that, but he would let his friends stay in the room and sleep while he wasnt there. He was a damn slacker, and after midterms, he went back to OK. I had the whole room to myself.

2. I transfered back home to Baltimore after that semester. For the Fall 05 semester i had this annoying *** rooom mate. He had to be deaf. He would have his tv turned up to the loudest setting. It would be so loud, that me on the other side of the room, couldnt talk to people on the phone. The ppl i would talk to would complain about his loud *** tv. Then he would set his alarm to go off at 6am. The horrible thing was that the alarm would go off, but he wouldnt wake up. He could sleep through it, while my *** would be full awake. Id lay in bed for like 10-15 min hearing this alarm, hoping he would get it, before getting up, and walking across the room to cut it off. He moved out after that semester. I was so glad to see him go. He had the nerve to assume that I would help him move his **** to his apartment (since i have a car). I told him I had to work.

God that sound of that alarm at 6am is truly unbearable.

wow, i cant really top that but i can relate somewhat

sophmore year one of my buddies and i had singed up for a room together the previouse year
we thought all was said and done and we would move in and the semester would be easy

well halfway through the summer they sent me my roomates name and it wasnt my buddy..so i called this guy and he sounded real stoned and lazy..and i told him what we had to do...and he didnt do any of my suggestions or didnt even care
so school is in and i move in
i meet the guy...and he wasnt the "player" type but he seemed feminine, and was the type to not look in your eye and he had a dry weak handshake
anyways hes seemed kinda cool at first but i had 8 oclock classes so i wanted to get some sleep
well i hit the sack around 11 on a sunday.....and i told him i have 8 am classes
well he decindes to bring in about 4 of his funky loud friends and they all start drinking and partying like im not even there
so i was like wtf? i just tried to ignore it and got about 3 hours of sleep
turns out i have to wait 2 weeks before my buddy and i can be switched into the same room
so in the meantime i stay at an apartment of some gilrs that i knew
they were really nice for about a week
and then they eventually kicked me out
and i find out that his friends were sleeping and having sex on my bad
so i had to bear loud music+pot+booze almost every night for the next week
but thankfully it was all over after 2 weeks and my buddy and i were ready to switch rooms

my first year of college (last year) me, my roommate, and his girlfriend got really wasted in our room (dry dorm, and we lived next to the RA... fun times) and i passed out drunk around midnight (we started drinking around 6pm). i was woken up by those two ****heads at 4am with her moaning and ****. they were too drunk to notice me get out of my bed (loft kit 6ft in the air), walk across the room, and out the door (which was right next to his bed). the next day he asked me if i was in the room at all that night because he didnt remember seeing me. needless to say, they no longer go to school here.

I will never have a room mate due to the fact that I am set in my ways and no one will get in the way of them.

Pretty much exactly how I feel... I wouldn't be able to trust anyone else that I don't know either.

One time I had a roommate who had a giraffe and one time it made love with me while I was sleeping and the whole time I thought it was a dream. Then I woke up and my rear end smelled like the zoo.

My first semester in college my roommate was very quiet. After a few weeks he moved out with one of his friends...the guy was nice (so I thought) so I didn't think much of it. About a month later I read in the paper that he was arrested for beating someone with a baseball bat. Needless to say he was never allowed back on campus. That is kinda scary, good thing I never pissed him off in the short time that he was my roommate.

My freshman roommate was cool until he started pledging the frat second semester. Then he always smelled and occasionally came home in the wee hours of the morning pissed off and breaking things. He flunked out, and the last time I ran into him by accident, he was pursuing a career at Old Navy.

I had a roommate that was disgusting like the one in the first thread. He'd leave his garbage all over the place. After eating dinner, everything is left on the coffee table, wouldn't clean up at all.

Worst thing was he'd come home all coked up and ask me to punch him in the face. He only did this cause he wanted to hit me back, so I'd hit him and then lock him out of the suite. If me and everyone else refused to punch him he'd just punch the walls and then slam his head into the wall.

I had another a roommate who was a wrestler and probably a closet homosexual. He'd take off all his clothes and run around naked and throw food at us. We'd have to grab him and lock him out in the hallway naked to get him to get dressed again.

If you fell asleep in the common room he'd put his balls on your forehead to wake you up. He'd go out and get drunk and come home and want to wrestle me cause I was the only one close to his size.

I've been in plenty of fights but I didn't know any wrestling moves and he was bigger than me. He'd get me on the ground and put me in a strangle hold or something then dig his knee into my groin. That was a lot of fun.

He ripped my earring out of my ear twice while ****ing with me. I could only get out his holds by digging my thumb into his head right behind his earlobe or grab his trachea and squeeze til he let up.

I watched a match of UFC and saw the ghilletin [sic] (french exection thing). The next time he started to **** with me I put him right into a ghilletin and he never ****ed with me after that. Good times.

first roommate: Dranklots, went in my closet and ate my food, drank anything i left in the fridge regardless if it was his or not. Came home drunk often. Came in at 3 am once, chugged one of my waters, sat in bed, puked all over floor, leaving trail fro mroom to bathroom. I grab my robe, follow him only to find him stnading there, poking our RA in the nose saying "Is that Derek? He got off that one, was sent back to bed in my care. I left for church the next morning, came back and the mess was there but he was not. He came back drunk again at 11 pm that night.

Next roommate was really cool. I liked him cause we kind if just ignored each other, kept to ourselves and respected one another. No problems ever.

Roommates from the fall: Turned out to both be gay (nothing wrong with that, but when they are having a relationship together and I find this out by walking in on them expressing themselves physically, I have to draw a line...especially when it happens TWICE!!!! In Common areas of the apartment!) Thhey never admitted to this, despite the above, and vehemently denied it and called me a liar and misguided. Also Complained at me claiming I only checked the mail when i was waiting on something, only cleaned up my own stuff and never cleaned the common areas that I was never in (my room was in basement, so I hung out there all the time)
