damn dude that really sucks. I almost bought one of those aftermarket OEM-looking Ebay grills. I passed because I wasnt sure on the fitment issue.

Why dont you see if you can return it?

When I bought the Mussa grill It was one piece of fibeglass with no holes drilled out.

What I did is took every part of the grill except the two black pieces that run down each side. With the hood up put the grill on hold it in place and mark through the mounting holes on the hood with a sharpie.

Pull the grill out drill your marks and screw it in with the same diameter screw as the bit. With it mounted do the same with the black pieces that run down the side. On mine it did not touch those two pieces but it was so lite and the top four screws held it in good enough.

Hope this helps!!

will epoxy bond really good to fiberglass + bolts?

epoxy shouldn't have a problem bonding to it, its really strong and waterproof and all plus the grill is light alot so there won't be alot of weight there.

Ask Craig how he does it with his grills.

Yeah, don't give up so easily. Do what the others have suggested. I can probably take a picture of the back of Craig's grill if you need some inspiration.

using bolts and epoxy makes it so much easier to mount, and if you ever want to get a kit, all ya gotta do is unbolt it...i wish i woulda thought of this method when i got mine, but after some trial and error, i got it in and HIGHLY secure (4 bolts/nuts/lock washers/washers with a ****ton of epoxy holding them on) just make sure you scuff up/gouge/sand the hell out of/make rough the top of the bold before you put it on or it wont bond right

ok.i will rough up the bolt heads before the epoxy

epoxy woll bond to anything as long as you prep the surfaces right...and the piece doesnt move...
