I was thinking of removing the stock pinstriping on my hatch... wait, i was regardless. but while i was doing my customary boredom run through the local advance auto, i saw chameleon pinstriping that went from blue to purple... so i guess it could be called purpleen. do you think that would be a nice touch on my black car, or just plain rice? i can see it going either way, but if i tint the windows and smoke the side markers (and possibly rears) how do you think that would look?

I am going to completley black out the side markers and just a little bit of tint on the rears, you know, not completely black and just barely legal.

How do you get "purpleen" from blue and purple? Wouldn't that be purple and green?

I had a prizmatic pinstripe. It was silver til the sun hit it.It went green, blue, purple, red yada yada. That stripe was so awesome.Dang, that was on a car I owned 7 years ago :(
A 1987 Dodge Lancer. She was black with 35% tint.I had the taillights tinted with that nightshades stuff.

I like the idea of a black car with all the lights smoked and tinted windows

Pinstripes can look nice if done well. IMO there's a degree to when a car looks too clean. There has to be some sort of contrast to break everything up here and there.

i say honestly, it's $5 put 'em on, see if you like them, if you do, awesome, if you don't pull 'em back off no big deal.

My personal view is that should have been the end of the post. :D
Then, and only then, will you get my

Whatever floats your boat though dude, I'd be interested in seeing the results regardless.
