Hey all I was wondering which rims you suggest would look best with a black Elantra GLS?

You need to have some sort of preference, or else you are just going to get 2408 different colors, sizes, designs, etc.

Or is it that you don't know what you like?

well, if you remember ericbeck's car, he has black with a polished lip...the one millenium brought had chrome, but IMO with black, id go bronze....

Im a huge fan of Black with a polished lip. So much so that i am purchasing a set today. I like open rims, so im going with a 5 spoke. Soul is so right... There are so many different styles, you need to figure out what you like. as far as brand names go, im sure you can get tons of feedback on specific brand names. For a black car, Black with a polished lip is where its at! hope that helped.

okay, lets clear this up now so we dont get a million colors:
A. Chrome
B. Polished Lip
C. Non-Polished Lip

then with the colors that would look best: hyper black, gunmetal, black, silver, white.

I go for B, Black or B, Gunmetal.

there problem solved

I am a big fan of Chrome. Keyan I think I agree with you on this one.
Erickbecks rims did look nice though. Decisions, decisions. LOL.
Thanks all for the help.
One more thing I dont want to go up to 17 I rather stay with 15's or go to 16.
What size tire do you suggest for a 16?

Trust me Tom I think I dug myself into a whole getting the new car but I am soooooooo happy with it. Its gorgeous.
I cant get rims right away I need to save some money. Since I am doing a lot of work for Millenium with the shows they might be helping out with the rims situation. ;)

no problem, remember that if you ebay wheels, they also fit on nissans as well, at least the sentra. 4x114.3... might find some 16" chrome made for the sentra, will keep my eyes open though.

i used to want chromes when I first got my car... then I thought... upkeep, too bling.... now I know they're heavy....which lead me to my spoke style rims... i'm happy... you would be too with regular polished or painted rims...too much attention especially for a city car...

There's less upkeep with chrome than with polished rims. That's the reason why Center Line's chrome wheels cost much more than their polished versions. I'm getting so tired of having to re-polish my wheels to keep the finish shiny, that I think I might just paint spokes black and keep the lip polished.

Lightweight 17's give the best blend of performance, handling, & looks.

go HERE (http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=wheels&action=view_model&model=KR210%20Black)
you'll find almost everything over there but keep in mind that they sell "big wheels" that are over 17" wheels... maybe some ugly 16" but you know...
if you are gona go for full performance, super light weight will do the best from some other places...

I understand what your saying but there is still something about Chrome that I love.
