Pay it Forward

Well, the bike forum that I've joined (bikeforums.net) has a thread that they call Pay it Forward. It's a thread that you can list anything that you would be willing to give away for free, and people can pay the shipping for them and take them off you hands. They give away anything at all...and it's not a trade thread, it's a things for free thread. Maybe we could do this, is seems to work really well over there.

I did that here under my old name...........and even paid the shipping...just to be cool. I bought the Avanta XD badges and only used the "XD" part......so I opened a thread saying "free Avante badges" or sumthin......this cat zips in and says "I'll take them". The freak did not so much as thank me until I sent him a nasty PM.

Therefore, someone owes me.......... so send me a new DeepwaterBLue Sonata LX please.

^yea... except you'd probably want to start a "pay it forward" thread under marketplace or something so if it is indeed recognized, a mod could just sticky it...

a lot of things that people want to get rid of, no takers just yet. I'm going to remain hopeful though!

One thing to keep in mind, it can be anything. Guys on the other site are giving away whatever they have laying around that they don't want. One guy got some gatorade crystals that he didn't like the flavour of, so he's giving them away. So, keep an open mind when you walk through your place each day, see what you might want to give away to reduce clutter. One mans trash is another mans treasure.
