I've owned all 3... As far as look I am leaning Sony. What, to you has the best sound quality. I am buying and installing one of these tomorrow for my trip north.
Thanks.
P.S. As for the JVC post earlier, I can't get it soon enough to install and leave by noon fri.

that JVC is the newer version of the head unit im running...and its a tank...its on its 5th install in one of my cars, and still works GREAT!! the sound quality with the stock speakers is freakin awesome!! the only thing i dont like about it is that there is no independent subwoofer controls like alot of newer h/u's have

I know. I was just telling holmes why I did not want the Pioneer. It's because the Pioneer is green, I hate green - just like my goddamn gauges...

no matter what color it is, whats important is that a pioneer headunit will dominate over a sony HU, and will prove to be more reliable then any jvc or panasonic headunit. i've head almost all big name brands, and for my last 3 stereo installs ive used pioneer. i buy the lower end entry models of pioneer stuff and it comes with tons of customizing options and electronic controls.
just my opinions though

yeah, iwas about to go off on this post cause my pioneer that i had blew up about 4 monts after i installed it...but the JVC im running now has been in service for about 4 years, grounded out twice and had speakers short on it and it didnt even kill the fuse...ive had horrible luck with pioneer...but JVC pwns
