Newb here, a few reeeeeel basic questions

Hi all, newbie here. I've been hanging around newtiburon.com for awhile and heard this site mentioned (I have a 2005 Tiburon).

Ok, so the current gen Elantra is known as the XD. I have a '99 (not sure what it is known as).

Is there good info on this site for my 2nd gen Elantra or is there a better place to go? Just wondering before I start asking questions about my car.

you've got a J2, there are some J2 owners here so im sure you'r questions wont go unanswered

welcome to the site. i believe the 99 Elantra is the J2, and this site is still pretty good for J2 elantras. I know theres a few owners around on this site.

for J2 elantras your best bet is tocheck out rdtiburon.com since they share the same engine as you.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm not looking for real advanced stuff, so hopefully I can find some assistance here. Plus, I don't think the XD is all that different from the J2.
