Chopper Challenge

After playing this version of the game I just can't adapt to our version. I can't say which one is harder, but it seems like ours is.

It's not harder if you have a slow computer.. notice that many of the top scores took forever to acheive. Jackson's game lasted almost 13 minutes. I got to 1400 or so in 76 seconds...

with the other version of this game the same thing was true, the slower the computer, the slower the scroll.... and the easier it was. Notice the variance in Black's times.... 11808 seconds.. sheesh, that's more than 2 hours to get that far...


either that is horribly wrong, or the game is truely skewed to an advantage for slower PCs.....

11808? What the hell? I've been playing at work, on the super fast connection. The only thing I can think of that added up to that was how long I had the 'Chopper Challenge' screen up in between playings :confused:

Another aspect is that time is that it doesn't restart the counter to 0 after you crash. I can crash in the same points area twice with continuing between and the seconds are higher then if I just did it the one time.

Just something that I had noticed when I played.

DAmn! i remember my old commador 64 and then the 128...me and my brother (mostly my brother) broke some of the keys off getting pissed at some of those old games! :smiley_ac
