Yellow all the way. White blinkers look stupid/lame/gh3y/etc - plus they're not legal. Additionally, I've counted at least 3 instances where I could not see a 'white' blinker bulb in the sunlight - at least with yellow, even in bright conditions they are at least somewhat visible.

Yeah same around here.. The cops could care less about blinkers, they have better things to bust balls about.

When you say yellow, do you mean the actual color yellow, or amber? OEM is always amber.

I was pulled over for white sidemarkers (not turn signals), so since then I've been complying with the law. For the past few years I've been using my Silverstar turn signals. During the day when they're not on, the bulb has a bluish reflective color but when the turnsignal is on, it turns amber.

I was gonna buy them yesterday but there $10 a pair and to me there not worth it.

i have those silver-yellow bulbs for my blinkers. they blink/turn on yellow so people can't miss it and no excuse for cops to bust my *** further if i ever get pulled over for something. but during daytime, my headlights don't have that ugly yellow glare/reflection from stock yellow bulbs. kinda gives it a subdued tuner look, imo.

EDIT: damn, typed too slow and there's already two new posts and one exactly about what i posted. o wells. :D i think these bulbs are 3 bucks each at superlumination.com.. with shipping probably comes to 10 bucks or more for a pair though.

i like the white and none of the cops seem to care in my area so long as they dont come off as a white-blue ...I would say get some leds hehe

Make sure if you do to get the leds that you get the correct stuff to keep them at oem input for wattage or you wont be able to use your cruise at all and you'll get a cel for something to do with the brakes...even though everything will be fine lol... i had this happen to me...

I have white blinker bulbs so they look clear, I was told I wouldnt pass inspection but I did.I also have silver star bulbs so it actually makes my blinkers look yellowish

okay, here is the low down on blinkers... i actually researched this before changing from stock:

In the front of car: White, Yellow (pre 1980 cars only), or Amber
In the back of car: White, Yellow (pre 1980 cars only), Amber, or Red

After months of searching on this, and asking cops around me, and some that I know in other states, that seems to be the universal law. Most cops don't care as long as they are working anyway.

o god tricked03gls has white bulbs too! jesus those things are bright. down in our end of the US there's a road with no st. lights (pima) and if he flips it on it's like high beams man, it's ridiculous.

Hey about the blue headlights, dont use them theyre junk. As Flava Flav would say, dont believe the hype. Do a little research about Selective Yellow Headlights. Thems the ones to have.

i actually had blue headlights both highs and lows in my 01 sedan and i loved them... but then again, im up in the mountains and its always foggy.

YELLOW = good for rain and dark clear nights
BLUE = good for fog
SUPER WHITE = only good for clear nights

I got regular clear bulbs on my front/back turn signals, and clear corners.

I was gonna go hyperwhite, but don't feel like pulling out my battery just to change the damn bulb in the headlight - and I want all my bulbs to match.

You dont need to pull the battery out, I did it without taking it out.

your statement is actually incorrect.

Blue is NOT good for fog. True foglights are actually yellow. The reason why yellow light cuts through fog better is because it has a longer wavelength than blue, therefore it's less likely to be scattered by the molecules in the air. Blue on the other hand, has one of the shortest wavelengths in the visible spectrum of colors.

This is the same reason why the sky is blue and sunsets are red/orange. During the day because blue has one of the shortest wavelength, it is the most scattered light and in turn our eye sees the sky as blue. As the sun starts to set, we see more of the red and orange colors because their wavelengths are longer and the sun is now further away from us.

No need to pull out the battery
