just letting you all know basically the reason i have not been too involved lately is because i have been doing a lot of work fixing my body kit. i bottomed out harcore. well i started last week when ever i found the time and am still working on it. im doing a few modifications of my own of course. i took tricked's idea and i filled the foglight holes since they are basically worthless, can't find the lights that fit in there and don't really like how they look anyway. i have filled the little lip cut into the bumper for mounting the front lic plate. i am also cutting the bumper long ways in the middle and shortining it about 1/2 - 1 inch. not sure just yet. this way the front will be even with the skirts and the rear. this might also then allow me to eventually throw some eibach's on there. i will post some pics soon. if anyone has any other ideas for enhancements please let me know. i am also going to need every one's support in getting through this difficult project. thank you all.

I think what you're doing to the bumper is what the bumper has needed all along. Maybe, if the design works out, future R34's can be made to suit. Can't wait to see the results.

I have the R34 front on mine and have been wanting to do the filling of the fog light holes and the liscence plate inset.
I looked at all the fog lights that fit and they were either ugly or stuck out on the outer edges.
I bought some fog lights that I'm going to put in the middle slot and now I need to fill those holes.
I work at home depot and they sell bondo brand resin and fiber and the cloth as well.
Sooooo how easy is it to fiberglass those holes? Could you give me step by step instructions?

good luck man, i just ripped my r34 bumper on a dead animal bout 15 minutes ago, it tore right on the big middle hole on the passengers side edge, im really excited about that right now...by the way, i have the r34 fog lights in mine that were originally sold with the kit, i made them fit..it can be done...but if you fill them it will still be awesome, i love this kit..best of luck

EDIT: mine was also severely (sp?) re-worked and basically started from the ground up, the guy that did it reinforced everything and made them like they should've been made

remove the bumper take a dremel and cut the backs of the holes flush with the back of the bumper. cut two fiberglass sheets about two inches bigger than the holes. place one over then mix ure resin and brush on. make sure it is tight. allow to dry. repeat 1-two times more. then mix either bondo body filler or use the fuberglass filler and fill from the front. you will have to do this a few times until it is perfect.
