Ebay CAI cone filter

Just got a Ebay Accord CAI kit. It's a 2.5" kit. It came with a blue cone filter that doesn't look like being pre-oiled. I'm planning to use it instead of spending extra $$ for a K&N. So question is do I need to oil it? I have some leftover K&N oil for the panel filter. Can I use it on the ebay filter?

Never mind. I got the answer from the seller. It doesn't need to be oiled. BTW for people looking for a 2.5" CAI kit. Get the one I got. It's an easy fit and no need to widen the fender well hole. Got it installed and am loving it.

hmmmm ebay filters; i wouldnt trust them to work correctly nor would i trust a cheap pep-boys filters. I hope this is just a temp thing till you get a better filter
