I am wanting to paint the crome front on my 04 gls hood, has anyone done this yet and who would i get it off to paint? my second question is i took the grill off and i cut the insides out, but how do i fill in some of the places were i cut the grill? ill have pics up soon to show. thanks a bunch guys

you are going to have to use a plastic filler. a lot of people use regular bondo, and in reality, that's not guaranteed to last very long, and probably won't. bondo makes a resin jelly that can be used on plastic.
to get the hood garnish off, there are bolts on the rear side, 4 i believe and one little pop button thing in the middle that needs to be popped out, that's it. if you paint it, sand it really well and use a sandable auto primer. good luck

slightly off topic, but it sounds al good and covered: gls sedan?? auto or 5-speed?
