What do you guys think, is this a good buy for my 01 Elantra GLS or would I have to mod the heck out of it to make it fit?

looks good, but i dont like the looks of the by-pass valve. it just doesnt look like it will provide the "normal aem type by-pass valve operation".

I could always try the bypass and then take it out if it doesn't work good right? I just hope the system fits without too much modding lile relocating the battery and stuff like that. A little cutting here and there is no biggie though.

it doesnt say what size (2.75" or 3" tubing). with the 3", it might be tricky getting it around the battery, and the 2.75" you may have to cut away a small portion of the hole it feeds into the fender well. dont forget to treat the cut metal so it doesnt rust (the part you cut out behind/beside the battery), also, put some rubber around the spot also, so you dont get any annoying rattles from the intake tubing hitting on the fender hole.

I could always but the bypass kit seperate and add it in later right??
Thanks for all the help!

well, this one is a 2.5". i would personally get a 2.75" or a 3". my exhaust is a 2.5" and this size for an intake seems rather small. imo.
