what color for my wheels

i was pretty set on getting them powdercoated gloss black, but now im thinking something different wouldnt be bad. black 03 GLS, will have tints this summer. i will have red calipers as well. what do you think? bronze maybe? keep the black? hmmm. somethign else?

I still say black rims make people look like Nascar posers. IMO, any color (except maybe pink ;)) would look better than black. Bronze would definatly be a good option to consider. Actually, let's think about this: would ANY color (blue, red, green, etc) look good? Probably not - which limits you to silver metallics, bronze metallics, black, and even white. I think the bronze would look pretty sweet though.

lol ya ive seen a tidal wave blue gt sedan with bronze rims already... its already been done buddy... and btw my life is like nascar (going around in circles at high speeds), so my car is "dressed" for the occasion... i think the pic of your car with the black rims does not do it justice... first you need to paint the hub so you dont see the ugly rust in the middle... second clean and tire shine... then third take an outside (daytime) pic without flash since flash will pick up all the ugliness of the inside of the wheel well and the rusted rotors...

well, right now, i dont have the wheels. theyre at the sandblasters getting cleaned, then its off to the powdercoater to (as my plans now) get a gloss blac coat. the guy said he can get the powdercoat so glossy, it will look like it came stock on the wheel. tire shine is already on the tires, which will get mounted later.

as for the center caps, im trying to find something. i emailed the only nippon address i could find searching for some caps, but cant seem to find any. if anyone knows where to get centercaps that will fit, let me know

and i will have new rotors/calipers (calipers will be RED) when the wheels go on. thats what im trying to decide is what else would go with red calipers

Just remember that when you take another pic have the tire newly shined and the hub sprayed black (just get some cheap black gloss spray paint)... and what about red tinted clear corner to match the calipers? since the tails area already mostly red...

get your rims powdercoated porno pink with toyo proxies that have a posie pattern on the purple sidewalls...lol
