I'm guessing they look something like this:

(From Gun5's Selling my rims/tires (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13456) thread.)
Yup! Cost be about $700 for all 4 rims and tires, and each rim/tire weighs about 30 lbs. At least thats what the shipping stickers say. And no, as from what I can see so far no curb rash.

Very good. I always liked those wheels. Hopefully they look as good on your car.
Ok. here's teaser pics. Me and a friend tried to get the rims on, got the wheel off, and went to put the lugnuts back on. To big. Went out to Advanced Auto Parts, got locking mag lugs. To big. So hopefully Autozone has the small enough ones, or im screwed. But anyways, heres day 1 pics!

Sadly, I was stupid and didnt do the "snap pic with wheel kinda on" so you all are just ganna have to wait till tomorrow! :D Trust me though, looks sexxxy!
Oh yea, rim info: Tires are Kumho Ecsta's, and since each was shipped individually, the packing label lists the rims and tires at... 30 POUNDS! From what I understand, thats 10 lighter then stock. YIPPIE!

about damnd time you got rims man! i know you've been wanting them for awhile!!!
OK HERE IT IS! Got them on today, only problem was that me and my friend that was helping me were BARLY pushing on a lugnut, and the damn bolt SNAPPED! Quick run to autozone and we got a new one (for free, rock on sales man dude!) and we put it on. It was on the back drum, so it was an easy fix. But anyways, we got them all on, and man, they look SO FREAKING HOT! The car looks so sporty, its amazing. Anyways, I wont stall anymore, heres the pics!

And heres a shameless plug for my friends car, he's the one with the auto know how that is helping me with all this stuff. He is a member on the fourms, but he doesnt check them really. But here's his 99.5 Mk 4 Golf

the last post was to felix. not ctele
Actually, I dont need to really. Those pics were taken with the gas needle sitting on the E line. After I filled the car up, it sat REALLY NICE! And it's already getting me stares, I love it!
Also, another reason for not lowing is that I drive the car during winter, and anyone here in PA can tell that winter SUCKS! My car would be a snowplow, since a lot of Penndot is lazy as hell though. So, no lowering, sorry guys. Its just not worth killing the bottem of the car for.

I live in CANADA man and I'm dropped so you have NO excuse :)

sean lives there too and his j2 is SLAMMED. 1.5" isnt going to make your car a snow plow. all you need is some snow tires and you will be more than fine. and they're cheap. i got a set for 200$ and they still had the ink on the tires from the factory
Im using the stock steelies and the spartans on them for the winter, since they worked really well last time. And you may live in canada, but I get lake effect snow. :P And yea sean's car is lowered, but he probably has something else to drive in the winter. I dont. Oh well, we'll give it a while and see what happens.
