Just wanted to take a sec to share a remedy I found for haze on the plastic headlight lenses on the Elantra.
Check your local Auto Parts Store for a two step 3M plastic lens cleaner.
Essentially it works like a wax.
The first step is a mild gritty compound designed to eliminate the haze. The second step is a polish compound. I bought both for 10 bucks.
Depending on the amount of clouding, you may want to remove the headlights and use a buffer wheel (don't get this stuff on the paint.), but for low to mild clouding, four rags (one to apply and one to buff x 2 steps), and a healthy dose of "elbow grease" will work just fine.
Use the first compound, let it dry to a haze and buff, then repeat with the 2nd.
In no time...your lenses will have a noticable improvement.
Let me know if you need the 3M part numbers, but I have seen this product in several auto parts stores here in MI.
