Hey guys I have been building custom fiberglass systems for a number of year's now and just wondered if anybody has built or had one built in their GLS Elantra. I am going to start my build sometime next week and plan on using all Audiobahn (easy and cheap for me to aquire) to go with the three TV screens I will be using. I am planning on 3-10" Subs, 2 amps, custom kick panels and my Pioneer changer glassed into my glove box. I also need to leave some room in the trunk for my Zex system that will go in too.

sounds raw but what all are you going to fiberglass? are you gonna just do the sub box in the trunk? I remember me and a friend of mine did my s10 blazer as a project for his school and we had 2 sets of components in the front in fiberglass aiming right at your face and then the subs were in a massive box facing upwards. that fiberglass up front looks badass.

Yes the Sub enclosure will have a painted fiberglass face with the subs facing in and the magnets exposed. Also all the beauty panels will be made out of glass and also painted to match the car. Here is a pic of my 94 Cutlass that I started and never found the time to finish because it was my daily driver. My Elantra is going to be my project car and I will have lots of time to build the system and do all the mods I want to do to it.

any way to have the cone facing out? or does it sound better with the cone reversed like that?

It doesn't matter which way the Subs face, the magnets out is just for looks since 90% of the subs out now have nice shiny chrome magnets. I personally think the subs sound better with the cones facing out the way they were meant to go but for looks the opposite looks better to me.
