so im tryin to mount a cadence 6 1/2" component set in my doors. im going to run 150 rms to each speaker. im thinking of just tapping into the stock factory wiring because it will save me the headache of figuring out how to run the new wiring through my doors. anyone know what exact wires to tap on to?

i know theyre orange and green, but there are 2 sets of them?

One pair for the tweeters, one for the main speakers. You can look up the schematics in Hyundai WebTech (go to DFWHyundais.com (http://www.dfwhyundais.com/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,32) and click on "Hyundai WebTech Guide" if you are not familiar with WebTech.)

WebTech will also tell you wire gages so you can make sure you have big enough wires for your power.

yea i know that but theyre both the same exact color, i got new tweeters too and im using a crossover that came with it, so basically i just need a set of wires im not using that goes out of the door, i dont really feel safe playing the guessing game if you know what i mean.

if your saying what i think your saying, just tap into the two wires running to your woofer to the input of the crossover, the hook up your woofer and tweeter with a new peice of wire from your crossover. the wires make a split right at the connection in the door, so not using the other set of wires isnt going to hurt anything.

i beleive that there is a resistor in the tweater wireing,or it may be on the tweater, im not sure. i ran all new wires for both doors and both rear speakers. this resistor is a bass blocker so the tweater doesnt get any mids or bass going to it. you should be fine using the stock wireing if the resistor is on the tweater, or if the resistor is in the wireing.

the speaker wires run out the door jamb all all the way to the back speakers right?

the rear speaker wires ruin from the deck, down the door jamb/rocker panels under the trim piece (front/rear doors) then up to the rear speakers. the left speaker wires are ran on the left and the right on the right. if your running any amps make sure all your power/remote wires for the amps are on the opposite side as the speaker wires or you will get some alternator whine/feedback going thru the speakers. power/remote wires on one side and all the speaker wires on the other.

well itd actually be the power wires for the crossovers. i got the crossover shoved in the door with deadener all through my doors and the speaker wire comes out of the crossover and directly into the speaker. you think running the amp wires on the same side as the rcas would still make noise?
