So here are the pics - much better quality than the camera phone. Let me know what you think, because they just may very well be going up for sale, since my dealership is telling me that if I put 16's on my car, it will void the engine trans warranty. So has ayone had this problem or know anything about it? I mean come on if I was pushing 18 or 19's I could understand, but 16's?????????? So they said that if I want to be sure call hyundai direct, I wanted to see if any of you kenw before I attempted to call them and begin my frustration. BTW, they also told me that I cant mess with springs, the radio, or anything else for that matter..............ANyone know how much truth is to this.>>>???? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sure if you bring your case up with Hyundai America Corporate they will honor the warranty (if you ever have issues). Wheels don't void warranty. The new HDs are coming with 16s as well with pretty much the SAME engine/transmission.
Also nice pics they look much better now, but you need a 1inch drop i recommend Eibachs :)

As long as your overall wheel/tire diameter is the same as OEM, there is no way it can mess with the warranty. This came up a LOOOOONG while back (I think back in the now-archives days). Now, if you were running a significantly larger/smaller overall diameter, then that could have an affect on the drivetrain, which could result in warranty issues. Hell, my dealer sells new Elantras with aftermarket 16s and 17s on them.

hyunelan2 You said,

What do you mean significantly larger? like 19 or 20's?
Id like to get 17's or maby 16's.
and for 17's would most people get 205/45-17 or 215/45/17
